The Damascus Project will help produce two learning and discussion opportunities over the next four weeks centering on the work of Professor Andrew Root of Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. Root is regarded as a leading scholar in the areas of youth ministry and practical theology.
On Sept. 18, First UCC in Appleton will host a daylong learning event Called Creating Hope, at which Root will speak on “Living in an Age of Many Spiritualities” and “Living in an Era of Over-Parenting: Moving from the Thing to the Story.” Learn more and register.
