Treasurer’s Guide for Payments

OCWM (Our Church’s Wider Mission) Contributions

  • Goals are set by the Conference office in the fall for the following year.
  • Blank remittance forms arrive from the Conference office in November/December.
  • Return a completed remittance form with payment – special offerings listed on the bottom.
  • Prefer payment monthly.
  • Will accept quarterly, semiannual and annual payments. Other offerings (listed below) not specifically named on the remittance form:
    Offerings from installations and ordinations
    Disaster relief (floods, earthquakes, fires, etc.)
    Blankets, Heifer funds, Church World Service.     These are examples. If you have a questions, call the Conference Office.

Membership Dues for 2026

We consolidated the work of our four associations into the ministry of conference in 2025. The work of associations to connect clergy, gather leaders, engage in mission initiatives, and support camp scholarships will continue through the conference. 

Association Dues supported the work of our four associations. Moving forward, dues will continue because the mission and scholarship ministries they funded will carry on through the ministry of the conference. We are, however, shifting the name to Membership Dues. 

These dues cover the administrative costs for the congregation to be part of the United Church of Christ. Membership Dues will cover much of the operational costs of the new conference budget, expenses like shared legal consultation, printing and communication, technology, and staff travel to local congregations. Dues will be assessed at $5.00 per member of the local church (based on the 2024 membership). 

While dues focus on core administrative costs, OCWM Wisconsin Impact (also known as OCWM Basic Support) funds the wider mission and ministry of the conference: support programs to strengthen local congregations, leadership development and clergy care initiatives (including search and call), and extend our impact through partners like UCCI, the National Setting of the UCC, and regional missions previously supported by the associations. 

Membership Dues, like other offerings to the conference, can be sent using the remittance form to the conference office.
